Hey you guys !! so I've been off my blog for a second, but my office stressed me out so much and I've been enjoying it so much I was on deco rehab I swear. But I did want to share some project I did with my office so I can wrap  it up and move on to the bathroom yes you heard right the bathroom !!! can't wait I'm thinking HOT PINK  !!!

so here's a easy way to not over spend on cute deco pieces all you need is some imagination

I thought these vases where so cute but not liking that ugly brown

Doesn't look like anyone else liked them to on clearance for 2 bucks

Nothing some spray paint can't fix ... actually I don't even know if this was the right spray can but this is what  I had at hand . I went with white since there white anyways

Nothing like a new paint job  they look awesome right !!!

In the space perfect right and for 4 bucks you can't bet it

SO next was my desk this was a challenge I knew what I wanted but wasn't finding it anywhere , so when your looking for a particular thing widen you search . Craig list , ebay , yard sales what ever it takes to find what you want . Well I found my desk on Craig list at a local store / thrift shop / antique store . SO antique stores scare me honestly everything really old and very expensive so I was kinda unsure but we went anyways.

 

And there it was a solid wood white desk with the perfect drawers and perfect handles  but did need a repaint so I bought it for 200 bucks which it was a bit high but perfect at the same time . I knew I couldn't find it anywhere else . And I drove all the way to West Hollywood so why not 

 Here's the desk as you can see it was brown and one time but they painted it white and missed allot of spots 

 SO I started I took out the drawers

And the hard ware

got special wood paint ,no its not green the tray was green from the last paint a roll brush and a regular painter brush .

I did it all and got all these black corners

then placed the drawers and didn't close them they can get stuck if the paint is  wet ekkk

 and now just waited for it to dry this paint is strong so wear a face mask !!! you don't want to pass out lol

 

And there you have a brand new desk with a classic feel , I put so much work in this desk because this is what I had pictured for the space . So if you want something you have to work hard for it and that was the case here  !!!

and you guys saw this picture already , but here's the finish desk look 

 So that finishes the office  I have so many new ideas stay tune folks

Hey hello there and welcome to all my new followers thanks for stopping by I wanted to share with you some new additions to my desk . And show you that you don';t have to place a desk lamp on a desk ... check this out

So I brought in this pattern in my carpet I figured I would bring in the shelves to tie in the space .

SO instead of placing it as a desk lamp I placed right behind the desk on the shelf and lights up perfectly . pattern of the lamp shade makes the white pop .

Love it ...

At night it reflect beautifully , reminds me of a recces lighting

Here's some little things I got for my desk top a Ipad dock and a pink picture frame , that I placed a picture of my husband making a funny face when we went Paris love this picture puts a smile on my face =)

Along with this scent perfume bottle smells so good with the wind from the window it brings in such a pleasant smell

This cute glass box that also has a similar black and white pattern that I wanted to in-corp with the deco .The Box really doesn't have a function but it brings the pattern up towards the desk .

And this awesome mouse pad note thing so cute 

so that's it for now but I have plenty more just not enough fingers to type fast lolol

The greatest place !!!

SO hello there thanks for stopping by !!! I have the finish project the office is completed let the office speak for it's self 

 

I couldn't wait for the paint to dry to put this frame it looked to plain with the fabric so I went with the mirror inside makes it look like art 

So here's where the purple came in the drapes I placed them all the way till the top to make the illusion of a taller ceiling

 

I needed shelves since it was going to be a office, I got these two white shelves and complemented the frame and the mirror !!! I used the hole wall that we worked so hard for =)

So I had brought lime green and purple accessorizes for the shelves I had more green then purple so the purple really stood out !!! I didn't want to over clutter the shelves to I kept it to a minimum ...

I added the rug that I had before I didn't think it worked but it did it fit perfectly 

Then I got this antique desk , that I refinished that I will show you on another post 

and I got this very cool mag  rack form Ikea  love it

This is also a chair that I refinished that I 'll show you guys

All the pieces came together  and here it !!! my office

was allot of hard work !!! but look at this space I must say I'm totally showing off hahah I just love it and I'm very blessed to had the opportunity to have this done my Hubs and my dad helped so much love them and thank you so much

anxiety

Hey wow 12 followers that's awesome thanks for coming by and do I have tons to share with you !!! I've been absent for a while do to construction going on at my house for my office =) and in which I realized that I have some serious OCD my house messy = a very bad mood . So I did my best and went threw it

So what first came up was the window

really enjoying the view of my garden and the spring breeze its awesome !!!

SO next was the blocking of the bathroom door and the opening of the B door threw my room . That way I had a full wall to work with ...

feels like a new bathroom !!! now my room has its own B room love it  that's my next project the B room but "one thing at a time candy" , that's the hubs talking lolol

So they patched everything and this white wall was just screaming to get painted

So the paint color was a bit tricky , all the selection you have when you choosing paint color is a bit over whelming so
# tip grab three of your favorite colors and narrow it done to your favorite don't go back and fourth you'll never decide
I was going for either a nice cool green or a light pretty purple I had a base color which was white . I wanted to incorporate the accent color from my living room into the office since the space was so close to each other. So that was green and purple .
So I know I wanted lime green since the frame I painted but wasn't sure if the colors would go ... but  I just went for it 

I made sure to paint just the two walls to divided the space . I loved this color  its feels so fresh  and so clean  !!! I still wasn't sure of the lime green or the purple drapes  I bought . There was a lot of time taken just looking at this space and imagining what I had planned for it . I had to be sure that the next step I wasn't going to regret !!!
I'll do another post on the reveal that I was so excited about that I posted on Curves make up but I wanted to share the thought and hands on work that was put into my office space . SO if your in the same boat  maybe these step can help you .
